Common questions

Asked, answered.

Is everything really free?
Yes — the core programmes (HealthyHER, HealthyHIM, Healthy-kiDz, HG Embody, HG Sports Academy) are free, for life, no catches. HG-OPHI is a paid premium tier whose revenue funds the free work. Apparel and hydration are paid; profit funds the free work too.
What if I have not exercised in a decade?
That is who the programmes are for. Every session is drop-in, and every coach has a brief: the hardest session is the first one. Bring trainers. Wear what you have. Show up.
Where do you run? Will you run near me?
38 London boroughs as of spring 2026. National expansion begins September 2026 with Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. The Partners page lists every borough and the local delivery partner.
Who funds this?
A coalition of partners — NHS, Sport England, the Department for Education, the Mayor of London and the FA — fund the free programmes. HG-OPHI subscriptions, apparel and hydration sales cover the gap. Full accounts are published annually.
Can I volunteer or coach?
Yes. HG Sports Academy runs FA-accredited coaching pathways, with paid training and paid attendance. Apply through the Contact page.
